Community Project Grant
This fund offers a maximum of £1000 to not for profit or voluntary groups within East Hampshire. Match funding is required. Projects must benefit the residents of East Hampshire. There are two streams of funding. One is for a one off project that will not be repeated in the future. The second is for projects that are on going and will need funding annually. A maximum of three years funding is available.
Community Iniative’s Fund
This fund offers a maximum of £5000 and requires match funding. Projects must meet the aims and objectives of the East Hampshire community strategy.
East Hampshire Village Community Grant
This grant offers up to £5000 and will need local match funding. It is designed to assist communities outside urban areas (Alton, Petersfield, Whitehill/Bordon) to support their local economy. This can be done in three ways. Firstly by keeping essential community services in operation such as the only remaining shop, pub or post office. Secondly, to create events or activities to promote the local economy. Thirdly to assist local business groups to improve the local economy. More information is available here
Historic Buildings Grant
This is a fund that assists individuals or organisations with the repair or maintenance of listed buildings, ancient monuments or buildings with historical interest. More information is available here
Environmental Enhancement Grant
Grants are available to help projects which will improve the local environment. These projects can cover a wide range of different activities, but to qualify there must be a clear public benefit. There is no maximum amount and each application is individually assessed. Please note however that the total fund is only £10,000. Contact the Heritage Team on 01730 234214 for more information.
