Hampshire County Council Grants for Community Projects
Village Community Grant

This grant offers up to £20,000 towards helping to increase the use of village shops primarily within those communities with populations of less than 5000. There is a particular emphasis on those shops that are losing their post office and newly creating community led stores. Match funding is not essential.

Community Buildings Partnership Funding

This provides financial assistance to help with building repairs,  extensions and refurbishement of community buildings. For projects under £15,000 a maximum of £5000 is available. For projects over £15,000 a maximum of £12,500 is available. Feasibility studies can also be funded up to 50% with a maximum grant of £500.

Art Activity Grant

The arts service at Hampshire County council supports organisations wanting to put on art activities. These might include music festivals, drama productions, new media etc. A maximum of £5000 is available.

Community Transport Fund

Voluntary car and care schemes that provide a transport service to the community can apply to this fund. There are two funds available. One is for grants for £100 and under and one for larger grants.

Hampshire County Council Policy and Resources Fund

If you have been unable to get any money from any of the other HCC sources above, then please apply to the Policy and Resources Fund. This can be done at any time but you must prove that you have not been able to get a grant from any other Hampshire County Council Fund. Grants are awarded for up to £5000.
