South Downs National Park to offer £400,000 in grants to community and voluntary groups in 2011.
The government has announced 11.4 million in funding for the national park in 2011. £400,000 of this money will be used to offer grants for local iniatives from community and voluntary groups within the park boundary. This is good news for community planning groups who will be able to apply. Community plans are fully supported by South Downs National Park Authority as an inclusive way for communties to plan for their future and show evidence of community need.
